Through the generosity of many families, the fundraising goal for Phase 1 of The Heritage Project Master Plan has been accomplished! As St. Nicholas continues to achieve new heights of academic success, a new school building with technological advances and a new S.T.E.M. lab will assist in the continued growth of our school. The new Education Center includes:
• 9 new classrooms, a combination library/music room, and a combination STEM lab/art room: The rooms will be used for St. Nicholas School, adult education, religious education programming, and other parish activities
• An office suite bringing together parish, school, and religious education offices: With parish offices under the same roof as school and religious education offices, St. Nicholas will see improved efficiency and greater collaboration
• Upgraded technology, such as new high-speed fiber optics internet: St. Nicholas has been incredibly blessed to receive outside funding for technology which has allowed our school to have a Chromebook for each and every student. This new Education Center will better support our existing technology
• Improved accessibility and ADA compliant restrooms: By offering greater accessibility, the new Education Center will help all feel welcome and comfortable at St. Nicholas
• New heating and cooling systems: Currently, St. Nicholas estimates energy cost savings of new HVAC systems to be around $24,878/year
